Synopsis
A Bengali war drama set during the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War, following Bilkis, a young woman in occupied Dhaka who joins the urban guerrilla resistance against the Pakistani army after her husband disappears. The film, adapted from Syed Shamsul Haq's novel "Nishiddho Loban", won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Film and was Jaya Ahsan's career breakthrough.
